Six and a half  years ago I became a Mom to Jelly Bean a Yellow Lab pup with an incredibly sweet temperament and boundless energy. I found myself  searching for trails so that we could take long hikes in the woods. It was our favorite time of the day, sometimes walking alone, sometimes with family, friends and newly met dog friends. I decided that this was something I wanted to do for a living and Happy Tails was born.  Since then our family has expanded to include Kit Kat a Portuguese Water Dog and Tica a Spanish Water Dog.

          Travel often and not sure who to rely on for proper pet care?

Our hikes are one and a half to  two hours in duration (we love to stay out longer) and consist of the dogs walking off leash, playing, swimming and interacting with each other.  We always go for a trial walk  before a new dog joins us to make sure that everyone gets along.

I offer my service in the peninsular Halifax, Fairview, Clayton Park area and it includes:

1. •      dog pick up and delivery
   

1. •      11/2 - 2 hour long hike - rain/snow/shine (except for snow storms)
   

1. •      small  well socialized groups
   

1. •      I also offer a small scale boarding service    
   

        

        

Rates

$20 per walk

$30 a night/boarding 

$180 per week/boarding
